Commerce students will have the opportunity to compete in the Excalibur Human Resources case competition to be held on March 20 & 21, 2009. The team will include three primary members and one alternate.

Excalibur is a Canadian University Tournament in Human Resources held each year in Montreal. The tournament is open to all Canadian universities and is considered the premier Human Resources case competition in Canada. The tournament includes a semi-final on Friday, during which participants are required to participate and pass two tests based on case studies. On Saturday, six finalist teams are asked to analyze a real case that has been submitted by an actual organization.

Excalibur is a contest that teaches students how to solve real-life work situations. It is a head on competition between Canadian Universities that offer HR or Industrial Relations programs.
